Chalmers losing relevance to the Miami Heat as a point guard

… but doesn’t affect much Norris Cole.

It is all because of that multi-dimensional beast called Lebron James.

Nowadays, Coach Spo usually runs his offense through Lebron James, from the top of the key or from the outside. This reduced Chalmer’s relevance as a point guard on the first team.

Norris Cole is safe because he comes off the bench, when Lebron James is usually resting.

Thus, when Coach Spo proclaims that his backcourt has given a great performance, it usually means that Mario Chalmers has scored at least 10 points and Norris Cole provided a spark (assists) for the second team.

It is comforting that when Lebron James attacks the basket, he has an uncanny 360-degrees view of the open man in the 3-pt. area and hit him.

So Rio, keep on shooting those treys.

Ray Allen and the rest of the Bomb Squad (Shane Battier and Mike Miller) are on the second team. Even James Jones.
